Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how we issue refunds for data bundles bought on CyberDEBS. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. The nature of what we sell

CyberDEBS sells mobile data bundles that are delivered electronically and almost instantly to a phone number. Because a delivered bundle cannot be returned or reused, a bundle that has been successfully delivered is not refundable, except as required by law.

2. When you are entitled to a refund

You are entitled to a refund where:

  • Your payment was taken but the bundle was not delivered. If a delivery fails on our side or with our data vendor, the order is refunded in full.
  • You were charged more than once for the same order due to a technical error. Duplicate charges are refunded.
  • You were charged but no order was created against your payment.

3. When a refund is not available

  • The bundle was delivered successfully to the phone number you entered.
  • You entered the wrong recipient number, the wrong network, or chose the wrong bundle, and it was delivered as entered. Please check your details carefully before paying.
  • The bundle was delivered but is being used more slowly or quickly than you expected — data usage is controlled by the mobile network, not by CyberDEBS.

4. How refunds are made

  • Refunds are made to the original payment method — the Mobile Money number or card you paid with — through our payment partner (for example Paystack or Hubtel).
  • For agents who paid from their CyberDEBS wallet, the amount is credited back to the wallet.
  • We do not charge a fee to process a valid refund.

5. How long refunds take

Once a refund is approved, we initiate it promptly. The time for the money to reach you depends on your bank, Mobile Money provider, and our payment partner — this is usually within a few minutes to a few business days.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "last updated" date above will change.
